POKE-CLUB
The all new Poke-club is THE club for Poke-lovers and Poke-fans alike. In this club you can collect and trade Pokemon cards, make progress on a Pokemon game(myemulator or kbhgames.com), and shop in the gift shop for cards(coming soon...). The sponsor for this club is Mrs Friend, see her in room 255 for more info.
D and D CLUB
D and D club is back! Students who are interested in joining, please stop by the main office to pick up an application. Meetings will start Wednesday, November 16th and will take place in room 130, every other week. At this time, participation is limited to 20 students.
YEAR BOOK CLUB
Attention all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students: Beginning this month, the Highlander Way Middle School Yearbook Club will be meeting to build the 2022-2023 yearbook. If you love art, working with computers, graphic design, photography, attending school events, and having fun, then this club is for you! We will learn some photography basics, sort and edit photos, and work to layout the pages of our yearbook. Come be a part of the club that preserves our school memories!
YB Club will meet on certain Wednesdays through April from 2:30-3:30 in Mrs. French’s Room, Room 228. All club members should have a ride home at 3:30. Please see the purple yearbook posters around the school or Mrs. French for more details.
The first meeting will be held Wednesday, January 18th from 2:30-3:30. All are welcome! Hope to see you there!
SKI CLUB
Howell Middle School will have a Ski Club starting January 11th. They will meet on Wednesdays. A district wide email will be coming home soon with all the details, so tell your parents to look out for it.
QUIZ BOWL
Do you like academic competition? Highlander Way Middle School Quiz Bowl might be for you.
Quiz bowl is open to all HWMS students. Practice is weekly on Thursdays until 3:30 pm in room 118. We do participate in tournaments and scrimmages, which are in addition to our practice schedule.
